Who Are We

The Argaman Institute for Advanced Studies is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of thinkers and ideas, committed to exploring the foundations of human understanding and insight. By fostering a meaningful dialogue with the Foundations of Human Reason, the Institute offers diverse academic programs that inspire profound and creative thought, empowering individuals to contribute significantly to the advancement and enrichment of society.

The Adam Smith Program is meant for MA and excelling BA students in their final year who are interested in expanding and deepening their acquaintance with the thought that shaped how we think about a free economy and limited government.

The Exodus Program allows excelling BA students to gain a thorough acquaintance with the foundations of conservative and classical liberal thought, central pillars of western thought and culture.

The Herzl Program is meant for excelling graduate students in the humanities and social sciences on a research track, who seek to deepen their acquaintance with the foundations of conservatism. The program includes a philosophical inquiry into the place of tradition and its values in culture, the postmodern challenge, and the foundations of Jewish political thought.

The Churchill Program is meant for people striving to influence the State of Israel’s diplomatic and defense agenda, including those who already advanced in their career and wish to take a breather and learn more, those who seek political office, and excelling graduate students studying relevant topics who are interested in their academic study influencing strategic thought in Israel.
